Brunei Darussalam means Abode of Peace , in Malay.

Brunei is on the island of Borneo, just North of the Equator, and so has tropical climate all year round. It is usually hot and sunny, but rains most days, usually in the evening.

The cooler season comes with the monsoon, near the end of the year, but even then it is usually around 29 degrees centigrade, in the daytime.

The main town capital of Brunei is Bandar Seri Begawan, where you can see the mosque. The dome is pure gold!

In Brunei, there are only four Districts. One of them is an oil town which is the Belait District. The rest is Brunei/Muara, Tutong and Temburong District. Brunei has the biggest water village in the world, Kampung Ayer , where houses are all built on stilts!
